Tax return deadline
If you missed filing your tax return by 31 January 2015 and then thought you could just pay £100 and relax – be warned. If the return is not filed by next Thursday (30 April 2015) additional fines can be charged. The penalty for non-filing could be £10 a day up to the end of July (when it can increase again) Apparently 890,000 returns missed the January deadline – if yours is one of them, why not use the (forecast wet) weekend to get straight and avoid further charges.
