HMRC help on record keeping

HMRC has recently been sending emails to help businesses with their record keeping with a view to helping people keep accurate up-to-date records.
HMRC has a range of publications available, including:
- A factsheet about keeping business records.
- A note on different types of record keeping, how long these need to be retained and recovering business expenses.
- Details on the cash basis, a simpler record keeping system for small businesses.
