Heads of tax administration agree to take significant step in global cooperation
Thirty-eight heads of tax administration have agreed to global actions.
In particular, they have agreed a strategy for systematic and enhanced cooperation between tax administrations, to invest the resources needed to implement the new standard on automatic exchange of information, and to improve the practical operation of the mutual agreement process.
They also discussed how to engage with taxpayers, businesses and the tax profession better to enhance a strong voluntary compliance culture.
