Senior Mixed Tax Manager – Milton Keynes
A vacancy has arisen in our Milton Keynes office for a Senior Mixed Tax Manager. A high level of technical expertise is a requisite for the role. The role involves assisting a range of businesses including partnerships, sole traders, subsidiaries of oversees companies, owner managed businesses, public, private and listed companies as well as some private clients and high net worth individuals. Main duties include the management of the compliance cycle and provision of tax advice to clients. Other duties include providing support to the Partners, liaising with clients on a daily basis, developing new business initiatives and controlling costs and budgets. Staff management experience is essential as well as experience in a similar role within a busy tax department. The successful candidate is likely to be CTA qualified with strong written and verbal communication skills. The possibilities for business growth means that candidates with an inclination towards actively marketing the services of the firm to existing and potential clients will be particularly welcome.
Accounts & Payroll Assistant – St Albans (25 hours per week)
A reliable individual with previous experience is required in our finance team in the St Albans office. Duties include assisting in the preparation of management accounts and processing weekly and monthly payrolls. Experience of a computer based, nominal ledger and payroll system is desirable in this newly created, part-time role. A competitive benefits package & potential AAT support are on offer.
