Mercer & Hole raise more than £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support
Mercer & Hole have raised £580.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support thanks to the generosity of its staff, who took part in the charity’s World biggest Coffee Morning event.
All three offices took part in the event, with bake sales held in London, St Albans and Milton Keynes. There were a great variety of treats on offer including brownies, large cakes, fairy cakes, tray bakes, muffins and cookies, many of which were home made by partners, staff and their families.
In addition to the bake sales, the firm had a dress down day, with staff donating £2 to Macmillan for the privilege.
To raise further funds ‘Spot the Cake’ competitions were held with half of the money collected going to the lucky winners and the other half going to Macmillan.
Last year the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning raised £25 million and this year Macmillan are hoping to exceed that figure.
