Mercer & Hole announce grand total raised for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day
Mercer & Hole supported Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day on 13th March and will be donating a grand total of £1,118.14 to the charity as a result.
The firm matched the £559.07 raised by its staff, who took place in a variety of activities throughout the day at each of its three offices; London, St Albans and Milton Keynes.
Staff were given the opportunity to dress down for the day in return for making a donation. Master bakers and novices alike took part in ‘The Great Comic Relief Bake Off’ and brought their wares into the office for a bake sale. Finally, each office ran a Comic Relief sweepstake where the winners received half of the money collected with the remainder being donated to Comic Relief.
In all, it’s been reported that Red Nose Day 2015 raised a record breaking £78m. To find out more about the good work Comic Relief does in helping people living tough lives across the UK and Africa, visit http://www.rednoseday.com
