There was a fantastic atmosphere at the MK Stadium and at the start line with all the marathon runners together with the relay teams, who were easy to spot with their bright batons. Running alongside the marathon route, each relay competitor ran a leg of 6 to 7 miles -  all with smooth baton handovers. There were supporters throughout the course, cheering everyone along and, of course, the very welcomed drink stations for a cool down. The St Albans team were the first Mercer & Hole team across the finishing line in 3 hours 27 minutes and coming in at an impressive 7th out of the 38 firms who competed.
