0207 7353 1597Tom Simmons, is a chartered accountant who retired as a partner of Andersen in January 2002. Tom’s experience has been to advise mid-market companies and provide transaction support services to listed companies/ private equity investment houses.
Tom has a wide experience of providing hands-on financial advice to growing companies on how they prepare for an IPO or sale, including building appropriate financial reporting systems and controls for PLC status, reviewing legal, tax and management structures to facilitate growth plans, acting as reporting accountant for IPOs and working closely with directors and advisers to develop acquisition strategy and identify opportunities.
Tom is company secretary of Millwall Holdings plc with particular responsibility for compliance with corporate governance and AIM rules. Tom acted as finance director for another AIM company, which was recently sold to a trade buyer and is a former chairman of the accounting standards sub-committee of the Quoted Companies Alliance.
