Paul is a general practice partner at Mercer & Hole. Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975, he has built up extensive experience providing advice and guidance to corporate and business clients.

Whilst providing audit and accountancy services to clients, Paul also looks at corporate taxation issues and all aspects of business development and planning. He has a particular interest in business and corporate finance, particularly in corporate reconstructions. His services to businesses also include the provision of litigation support.

Paul works for a range of SME’s (small to medium sized enterprises) particularly engineering firms, charities and financial services firms. He also specialises in the agricultural sector working for a number of estates, farms and agricultural concerns.

Within Mercer & Hole, Paul manages the firm’s graduate training programme and graduate recruitment. He is also involved in the community as governor and chairman of finance for two local schools.

He is a long-standing member of the firm having worked for Mercer & Hole for over 30 years.

Paul is married with three daughters. In his spare time, Paul is a keen golfer and ornithologist.
