Lisa joined Mercer & Hole in November 2003 as a partner. She is a former director of Smith and Williamson where Lisa ran a client caseload of wealthy families and entrepreneurs.

A private client specialist with nearly 20 years taxation experience, Lisa works very closely with clients to find solutions to their individual tax problems. Her clients come from all walks of life and Lisa uses her skills in taxation planning and her knowledge of capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters to tackle a broad range of tax issues. Lisa is particularly interested in the tax consequences of offshore trusts and residence/domicile matters, providing advice and guidance to clients facing varied problems. She also handles matters relating to UK trusts for her clients.

Lisa has used her expertise to publish a number of articles and write for specialist publications as well as contributing to national and local newspapers. She has also lectured on her specialist subject.

Lisa is married with two young children and outside work enjoys spending time with family and friends.
