Helen is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW) and has been a Partner in general practice for ten years, joining Mercer & Hole in September 2008. During her time in Practice she has advised many owner managed businesses as well as UK subsidiaries of multinational organisations.

Helen has assisted and advised clients in all accounts and audit compliance matters and has helped clients analyse from a financial perspective their short and long term strategies. This work has included planning for future financial requirements, obtaining finance and restructuring groups. In some instances clients have decided to sell or acquire businesses and Helen has worked closely with them and their advisers on the terms of the deal as well as the financial and tax implications of the contract.

Having dealt with many clients Helen has been exposed to a number of sectors and industries, such as: property investment, publishing, architecture and insurance brokerage. Non statutory audit work includes pension schemes and Solicitor Accounts Rules.

Away from work Helen is keen on most sports – participating (swimming and tennis) and watching football Chelsea club.
