Andy is a general practice partner at Mercer & Hole providing audit and accountancy services to small to medium sized enterprises (SME’s) including start-ups, family run businesses, large organisations and divisions of listed multi-national corporations throughout the London area.

He leads a team who not only provide audit and accountancy services but also outsourcing, company secretarial work and guidance on a wide range of corporate and director’s taxation issues. Part of the work of the general practice department is to provide advice regarding the development of the business, whether this be for a business start-up, a growing firm or for the business owner who is looking at succession issues. Andy works closely with Mercer & Hole’s corporate tax and financial services departments to provide wide-ranging advice to the client.

With a good knowledge of international financial reporting standards Andy has acted for many clients with overseas interests. He is also one of the lead partners on our Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) work, which allows Mercer & Hole to provide audit services to quoted US companies.

Andy has acted as audit partner for publicly quoted companies (on AIM) and has worked on floatation’s and other reporting account assignment. Andy also has other corporate finance skills – including Financial Due Diligence, raising finance and strategic advice.

Andy qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991 with a top ten firm of accountants in Leeds before moving to London in 1996.

Andy is married and has two dogs. He enjoys keeping fit, Indian food and supporting Manchester United Football Club.
