Predicted rise in charity sector mergers
A report from business advisors at a fellow firm of accountants (Implementing Mergers and Consolidation Across the Public Sector) investigates the opinions of 600 public sector directors and senior managers. These individuals are involved with the execution of the government’s ambitious ‘Big Society’ agenda. Of the population surveyed, 35% thought that the charity sector was the most probable area to experience mergers in the near future.
