Income tax and national insurance limits
From April 2017 the personal allowance will be £11,500 and the basic tax rate band £33,500; the 45% rate still kicks in at £150,000.
Meanwhile the new NIC limits are a lower limit of £8,164 and a higher limit of £45,000, with employee contributions thereafter at 2%.
