Automatic information exchange agreements with Guernsey and Jersey
The UK recently signed agreements to improve international tax compliance with both Guernsey and Jersey.
This means that financial information on UK taxpayers holding accounts in Jersey and Guernsey will now be automatically provided to HMRC to ensure that the correct amount of tax is being paid.
The Government is looking to sign additional agreements with other jurisdictions.
