From 6 April 2012 employers can make payments of up to £4.00 per week to reimburse additional costs of working from home without the need for any records. For amounts above £4.00 you need full supporting evidence of expenses incurred. The previous guideline rate of £3.00 per week has applied since 6 April 2008.
