Bookkeeping apps - HMRC mobile application

HMRC has consulted with developers to produce record keeping mobile applications for businesses below the VAT threshold.  The applications are designed to help with maintaining records and include links to HMRC guidance. 

HMRC has published a list of companies that have advised HMRC that they have commercial mobile applications for record keeping that meet the HMRC specification.  HMRC has stressed that the inclusion on this list of any trader or trade organisation does not imply any support, recommendation or certification of their software by HMRC and it has not carried out any testing of the applications.
